Mariza Brussolo

Mariza Brussolo is a clean comedian based in Boca Raton, Florida. She brings entertainment to HOAs, corporate events, retirement communities, and private parties across South Florida and beyond with relatable and feel good comedy that brings the whole audience together.

Before she ever stepped on a stage, Mariza’s life was focused on family, work, and being a mom. Becoming a comedian was never the plan, but the first time she stood in front of a room full of people and made them laugh, she knew she had found something she loved.

Comedy found her during one of the hardest times in her life. She went looking for a fresh start, and she found a calling.

Her Inspiration

Mariza’s comedy is inspired by family, dating, adoption, homeschooling, cultural differences, and all the unexpected details of everyday life. Her goal is to make people laugh at some of the things we all go through.

Throughout her career as a comedian, she has had the pleasure of opening for and working alongside some of the most recognized names in comedy. She has also served as emcee for TEDx events, bringing her warmth and energy to stages beyond the comedy world. She is also a regular at Arts Garage in Delray Beach, where she serves as emcee for the Comedy Open Mic and the All Arts Open Mic, and for the Art of Laughter she has served as both emcee and featured performer.

Mariza performs at large venues and ticketed shows as well as intimate private parties and community events. Whether she is headlining a corporate gala or making a small gathering unforgettable, she brings high energy, professionalism, and heart to every event.

Mariza loves it when members of the audience come and say hi to her after the show and share their own stories. It always reminds her how much we have in common, even having different backgrounds.

Beyond the Stage

When she is not on stage, Mariza is writing new material or working on her next book. She wrote Kickstart Your Stand-Up Comedy, which helps aspiring comedians take their first steps on stage.

For Mariza, comedy has always been about more than entertainment. It’s about connection, joy, and the reminder that sometimes even in the hard times, we can find something to laugh about.
